Loftware Print Server Version 9.5.3 - Release Notes

June 2009

Feature Details  back to version info
New Features and Enhancements
  • ‘Print Preview’ now resolves the formulas and data sources used on the label.
  • A new setting for the Zebra Printer Language (ZPL) in the ‘Preferences’ window now enables a user to set the anchoring of the Datamatrix barcodes to the bottom-left instead of the top-left (which is the default behavior).
  • A new setting in the ‘Preferences’ window now enables a user to truncate the length of a field to the value specified in the ‘Max # of Chars’ property for the field.
  • When a user copies fields from one label to another label that has a field-list, Loftware Label Manager (LLM) Designer shows a warning message asking the user to confirm the operation. Upon confirmation, the fields are copied to the new label along with their respective field names.
Bug Fixes
  • Leading and trailing spaces are now automatically truncated from the printer names.
  • Stacked print jobs with a combination of successful and failed print requests now return the correct status of the print jobs.
  • Text fields that use True Type Font (TTF) and use leading spaces for padding now print correctly and no longer shift position on the label.
  • Resolved the purging issue that was causing 100% CPU usage when there were a large number of failed print jobs.
